Pet Tales
Our pets feel like family members, and we grieve them the same way. Your pet’s obituary may never make it to the local newspaper, but it can still provide an enormous amount of solace for you and any other family members or friends.

Speedy
It broke my heart to have to let you go. You have been a loyal, loving, and protective member of our family for over 15 years. Things are certainly different without you here, but you will live with us forever. We Love you Speedy, and miss you dearly.
Love Always Buddy,
Dad
Rebel
Our little Rebel (Reb Reb) passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024, our happy little puppy went to rest peacefully in his home after 15 years of being the sweetest boy.
We knew from the moment we saw Rebel and the breeder called him “Mr Perfect” that he would be the best fit for our family.
Rebel was the happiest boy & loved camping more than any dog we’ve known and never turned down some time to snuggle up and sleep as soon as you got a blanket for him. For 15 years he let his brother and sister dance with him, neighbors chase him, aggravate him, or lug him around.
He was a beautiful, friendly sweet boy. The house is too lonely now without him, his nightly cuddles and sharing popcorn will be sorely missed. We’re glad to know that he’s happily enjoying all the camping he wants, and no longer in pain.
Roxy
I inherited Roxy when my mother passed when she was 3 years old. She’s been with me through her passing, college, several apartments and jobs, moving in with my boyfriend, my father’s passing, marriage, and our first house. She’s been a constant companion in so much of my life, and I don’t know how to move on without out her. She’s been my little “Golden Girl” and “Mama Dog” for so long now, not to mention my favorite coworker for cuddles during company zoom meetings. I don’t know how long I will still think I hear her huffing or snoring in the downstairs room, or expect to see her in her spot by the couch waiting for me when I turn around. I’m always going to miss her, but I take solace in knowing she had a long wonderful life, and a lady always knows when it’s time to leave.
Leo
Meet Leo, aka the “snackster.” Sweet Leo showed up on a house doorstep as a kitten and lived a long life of nineteen years. He could put down more snacks than any cat known. Besides from his snacks, Leo loved being around people and sitting on everyone’s lap whenever he could. He was the nicest and most loving cat there ever was. The little blue room is empty without you Leo. You will be missed!!
Delilah
Our sweet Delilah girl was more than a friend/companion, she was our absolute best friend. I was blessed to have her by my side for 15 long, yet short years, before my children were even thought of. A piece of us surely left when she did and there will never be any other animal that will quite compare to her. She is missed and loved more than she could have ever imagined ❤️
Buddy
Our sweet Buddy passed away on May 15 after having lived a long and happy life. We got him from a bunny farm in Goochland when our daughter was 8 years old (she is about to turn 20). He was spunky, goofy, and loved to run, jump, and spin around. We spoiled him with his favorite treats every morning. Buddy was a wonderful pet and all of us miss him so much already. Our family is grateful to have had him and he was a blessing. Love you, Buddy. ❤️🐰
Ameerah
It’s taken me almost 3months since she passed to do this, i expected many more years with her. She never got sick or had any health problems her whole life, then she just went so fast.
Ameerah was truly a princess she didn’t walk she pranced everywhere she went. Her voice was beautiful just as she was, and her eyes would melt your heart. She would drive me crazy trying to dig a hole to china, she loved car rides she would awkwardly stair at the people next to us or behind us and would bring laughter to us and the people she was staring at. She was so Loved, and i know that when she went to heaven that Ralph her best friend, her brother was waiting for her and when our times come we will be reunited with them both. We love and miss you meme💜
Baxter
Baxter was a very loyal chihuahua. He was loved by his human mom, Leslie, human dad, Jeff, human sister, Harley, human brother, JJ. He also had a four legged brother and best friend in Tom Cat.
Baxter, loved sitting in the window watching the world pass by and barking at everything that moved (even the wind).
Baxter loved snuggling under the covers behind his human mom’s knees to sleep. He followed her around everywhere.
He was a wonderful dog, whom everyone who met him loved him. He loved people and was all bark and no bite.
He had a big attitude, like Cujo, but knew he couldn’t do anything to harm anyone so he hid behind the legs of his humans.
He enjoyed French fries, pets and snuggles and licking everything.
He is very much loved and will always be missed.
Monster
When you heard his name you did not expect the Sweet Kitty behind it.
Monster was a little rascal of a kitten who became a loving and playful cat. He was an adventure buddy, loving car rides and walks outside. But his favorite pass times were laying in the sun and helping his momma in the kitchen, always being the helpful chicken taste tester.
His joyful spirit stayed with him until his final days, and he will always be remembered and cherished by his family. Taken too soon, he is now another one of gods four-legged, furry angels.
Bella
No one tells you the dog that saves you in your 20’s will break your heart in your 30’s. Our sweet Bella was by our side every step of adulthood. She grew with us, always by our side with her sweet personality and watchful eyes. After 14 years our sweet old lady was laid to rest with all the love we could give her. She will be greatly missed by all her knew her.
