What can I say about Natasha? She was my best friend, my Velcro. My husband once said she and I were a kindred spirit because of how much we worry. She had to be on whatever floor of the house I was on and every morning would not go down the stairs until I started down them, always on my left side, snorting and chuffing excitedly the whole way. Natasha was a big bully mix, 85 pounds at her healthiest and terrified of everything!! She was nervous around adult men, scared of storms, popcorn popping, loud sounds, her boys getting loud over sports, going in the backyard by herself, anything involving landscaping or construction, our parrot, and especially terrified of FALLING LEAVES. She was an incredibly loyal and loving dog. She absolutely loved children and babies. She accumulated a lot of nicknames over the years! Meatball, Gravy, Pig, Piggy, Pig and Beef, Beefypig, Cindy Lou Who, Nay-tosh. It has been a hard adjustment around here without her. We had her longer than we have had our youngest two children. She was such a funny and quirky dog. You couldn’t replace her you tried. She was a good girl, the best girl. We miss her so much.
