June 18th 2012 to September 27th 2020
Noah Calhoun Causey passed peacefully in his mom and dads arms under his favorite oak tree September 27th at 346p following a sudden onset of kidney failure.
His beginnings are widely speculated, but we were told he was found in a storm drain before being turned over to the Sumter SPCA. There he was blessed with the name of Jericho. after his adoption it became apparent that the name was too strong for his delicate nature and was renamed Noah (as he provided much comfort and peace).
In addition to being an avid bird watcher (and chaser), snuggling, car rides, hoses/sprinklers, his Lamby toy(s) and sunbathing were a few of his favorite things. It is also speculated that Noah was a Medium, as it was a regular occurrence for him to sit and stare at unseen things wherever he went.
Although Noahs time on this earth was short, he packed many adventures in his 8 years of life and was rarely not by his moms side.
Some of his accomplishments included running collectively over 500 miles, living in 4 different states, (almost) swimming away with a pack of befriended dolphins, catching (only) 3 birds and winning the 2018 Park at Towne Lakes cutest pet contest. he was also a faithful hiking companion and loyal familiar.
Noah will be remembered by friends and family as a gentle, kind spirit with a knack for winning hearts, catching tennis balls and always having perfect hair days. his mom and dad will miss their morning walks together and his loving, faithful companionship the most.
